Books of condolence and flowers
Message from Wool Community library re book of condolence…
Book of condolence for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
A book of condolence will be available at the library on Monday 12th to Saturday 17th September from 9.00 to midday. The book will also be available on Tuesday 13th from 15.00 to 17.00 while the library is open.

Anyone without access to the internet wishing to leave a message in the online book, can call the customer service team at Dorset Council on 01305 221000 who will record it for them.
Message from Church of the Holy Rood re book of condolence…
All are welcome to sign a book of condolence and light a candle in the Church of the Holy Rood, Church Lane, Wool BH20 6DD any day between 10am and 4pm (except Wednesday 14th September 10:30-11:30) as we remember with thanksgiving the life of Queen Elizabeth II and pray for the royal family. The flag is flying at half-mast - all are very welcome.
Floral Tributes
Dorset Council invites people to leave flowers at the Memorial Corner to the front of County Hall, Dorchester. They will remain in place until 5pm on the day after the funeral of Her Majesty. In the event of continued inclement weather, they may be removed earlier. We ask that any flowers are unwrapped, and no non-compostable items are used.
Wool Parish Council invites people to leave flowers in Millennium Square (the green area opposite The Ship).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BINDON LANE, WOOL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BINDON LANE, WOOL
DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended.
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BINDON LANE, WOOL from the junction with Highwood to
outside Inglewood Farm (in both directions), a distance of approximately 480 metres. The Notice is needed in order
to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise
likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation between 09:30 until 15:30 on 12th September
2022 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12th
September 2022.
This Notice will provide Openreach with safe access to undertake pole tests.
The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: Holme Lane, B3070, A352, Woolbridge Roundabout,
A352, B3070 Station Road, Bindon Lane and vice versa.
