Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of Wool Parish Council, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for Wool Parish Council:

  • There are a lot of the links on the website to PDF documents: Although the PDFs are created to be accessible, the link to them does not say 'opens a PDF' which was a choice. The demographic of Wool Parish means we have a lot of people who would not understand what 'opens a PDF' means. We will monitor user comments and revisit the choice if necessary. Please contact us. We will help.

  • News page, Welcome to Wool (home page), Bus Map (home page), Travel Information (main page), Beryl Bikes (home page): Some PDFs are not generated by Wool Parish Council and therefore may not have been created as accessible. Where possible we will work to create accessible versions. Please contact us. We will help.

  • Some headings on the home page: Some home page headings lead to the same page e.g. 'Precept' leads to 'Finance' page and 'Budget' also leads to 'Finance' page. This was a choice. The home page is designed to anticipate why people are visiting the website. We may consider changing the links to link to different specific locations on the same page. Please contact us. We will help.
